When does WARDOGS Season 2 start?

October 15, 2026, which is a Thursday. The Season 02 Teaser posted on Steam on September 22 says "WARDOGS Season 02 is coming" with that date and "Stay tuned for more details." It gives a date only. BULKHEAD has not announced a start time or a maintenance window.

Does WARDOGS progress reset every season?

BULKHEAD says yes. In its "Early Access & Beyond" video from April 7, 2026, the studio says that at the end of a season, your cash and XP progression will reset, with your cash automatically converted into Gold Bars. It gives two reasons: to let newer players compete on a more level playing field with veterans, and to let the developers overhaul the major progression throughout Early Access.

The Season 1 changelog from September 9, 2026 adds that each season will have a different XP curve and a different item unlock order.

What do you keep after a reset?

According to the same April video, Gold Bars and cosmetics from a season stay permanently on your account across seasons. The video also describes a planned Player Skills system as permanent progression that carries across seasons. BULKHEAD lists it as planned, with no release date, so check in game before relying on it.

Season 02 begins on October 15, and BULKHEAD says progression resets at the end of a season, so a reset around that date is the expected outcome.
